[edit] Game Engine
Does anyone know the name of the game engine (i.e., middleware) used in the development of Tiger Woods 08? Is it third-party or in-house? Aeonassoc 15:28, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
it's an in-house engine —Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.153.129.39 (talk) 13:49, August 30, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Does anybody know the Roster?
I know Tiger Woods is of course. John Daly and Vijay are in and I saw Retief Goosen's name on a video and I know who the LPGA are but who are in other than that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.54.97.142 (talk) 18:14, August 27, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Australian Release Date Delay
The game release has been delayed (for the 360) until September 6th. Not sure where or how to work this into the article or if it needs to go in at all. 58.175.224.232 08:49, 29 August 2007 (UTC) Monty
[edit] Wii version
The Wii version also has the shot confidence feature along with the obvious control scheme using the Wii remote. When you start the game, it automatically loads up into tutorial mode. I don't know if any of these things are important to the article, so I'll let someone else decide if they needed to be added in. - Chaotic42

Was this entire article taken from the game's website or something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.182.98.109 (talk) 17:00, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Tigerwoods08.jpg
Image:Tigerwoods08.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] No creativity in this game
Leave it to EA to once again feed us another steady diet of unimaginative garbage. These guys did nothing more than put a small, and I mean small spin on the 06 version of the same game. Not just that but there are many, many things wrong with this game, and these guys at EA must be fresh out of school to be writing such lame code for these games. 1. The physics engine is terrible in this game. 2. The yardages on the scorecards are incorrect. How can you have a 130 yard par 5 and a 569 yard par 3 hole in golf???? - HORRIBLE 3. The game is designed to cheat in match play. I'll explain this one - both players have 4 shots and are in the cup, but you still lose the hole and go 1 down - IMPOSSIBLE! 4. The redraw time for the holes is incredibly slow, making this an infuriating game to get through. 5. The announcers are still saying the exact same lines as in the 06 version - NO CREATIVITY 6. to play online you MUST ELIMINATE A SECURITY UPDATE IN IE6 in order to play - unbelievable code.
This game belongs on the 9.99 value software rack and NOT on the regular retail shelves.

Isn't the discussion part of an article to talk about the article, and not cry about the game itself? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.121.221.12 (talk) 21:50, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
