Tiffany Laufer

Tiffany is an accomplish filmmaker having received her MFA in Cinematography from The American Film Institute. While at AFI, Tiffany worked alongside such noted ASC cinematographers as Wally Pfister, Stephen Lighthill, and Januez Kaminski. Tiffany studied studio art as an undergraduate at Georgetown University.
As Cinematographer, Tiffany has shot and directed numerous short films and music videos. She has worked with comedians Dave Hill (comedian) (of MOJO's The King of Miami) and Fred Armisen (of Saturday Night Live). Her thesis film (as D.P.) ‘Passage’ screened at the Cleveland International Film Festival; New Orleans Media Festival, LA Shorts Festival in addition to an Angelus Awards Finalist.
Tiffany’s company, Laufer Film (co-headed by her CPA trained father William C. Laufer) produced the family feature film, 'Christmas at Maxwell's' a MPAA PG rated film that received the Dove Foundation seal of approval. TV Guide said of their film “it’s a rare example of truly independent filmmaking”. The Catholic Universe Bulletin called it: “very heartwarming and full of hope”.
Laufer Film has presently finished a cooking show with Food Network host Jacqueline Jack Hourigan, entitled 'Journey to Your Plate' which highlights organic foods and their path to our plate.
Tiffany’s feature script ‘Emily and the Blue Heron’ was a semi-finalist in the Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab. A staged reading of her feature script ‘Sacred Tea’ was put on by the Meetinghouse Theater Lab at the Schoodic Arts Center. Tiffany has also participated in the Squaw Valley Writer’s workshop headed by Diana Fuller.
