Tiffany Joh

Tiffany Joh (born December 8, 1986) is an American amateur golfer currently playing for the UCLA golf team.

Joh was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and moved to San Diego, California as a young child. Both her parents were born in Korea and moved to the United Staets as adults.[1] She attended Rancho Bernardo High School where she earned American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) HP Scholastic All-America honors.
[edit] Amateur career
In 2005, Joh won the Women's Amateur Public Links Championship. She also made a double-eagle at 9th hole of Royal Pines Golf Course during her tournament of Australian LPGA Masters. In 2006-07, while a sophomore at UCLA, she won the PAC-10 title. She finished 3rd at Australian LPGA masters in 2006.
In August 2007, she finished tied for 22nd at the Safeway Classic on the LPGA Tour. She was the Pac-10 player of the year twice, 2006-07 and 2007-08.
At the 2008 NCAA Division I Golf Championship (May 20-23), Joh lost in the playoff to Azahara Munoz of Arizona State University for the individual championship, after they tied at 287. Her scores were 74, 69, 72, and 72 for a total of 287 on the University of New Mexico Championship Course, which was par 72, 6424 yards. But she helped UCLA Women's Golf Team to finish second in the Championship.
She was named 2008 Pac-10 Golfer of the Year and to the 2008 U.S. Curtis Cup Team. At UCLA, she was a three-time All-Pac-10 selection (1st Team in 2006 and ’08) and three-time All-American, and was a seven-time member of the Director’s Honor Roll at UCLA (3.0 gpa/quarter). Joh captured her third All-America nod from the NGCA (National Golf Coaches Assn.) after leading the Bruins in every statistical category during the 2008 season. She was ranked among the nation's Top 5 players all season.
