Tierra Blanca, Cartago

Tierra Blanca is a city in Cartago province, Costa Rica, about 3 miles due north of Cartago, Costa Rica; resting on the slopes of the mountain whose summit is the IrazĂș Volcano[1]. Tierra Blanca is at an elevation of about 2000 m above sea level.

Tierra Blanca is a small farming community made up of approximately 5000 inhabitants. People there are mostly of a Spanish decent.
