[edit] Merge

  • Keep separate Tidewater Council separate. There is a main article link to it in Scouting in Virginia already because of the length of the article. If every council had an article this size, Scouting in Virginia would be humongous. Council articles with only a para or two should be in the state articles, but not ones that are big enough to stand on their own, those (Tidewater Council should be subpages. • Keep separate per Rlevse. --Naha|(talk) 13:19, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
  • Keep separate Very little of the membership of Tidewater Council is in North Carolina so it makes no sense whatsoever to merge with Scouting in North Carolina. As for Scouting in Virginia, this article is little more than a laundry list of councils and districts. The content currently in Tidewater Council doesn't really fit there. There's actually a lot of history behind this council and its OA Lodge - it is worth having a separate article in my (admittedly biased) opinion. BigDT 21:24, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge removed

The merge request has been removed in that it was erroneously placed in the first place. Sorry for the confusion. KC9CQJ 00:04, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blue Heron Lodge merge

Blue Heron Lodge has not shown separate notability. Per WP:SCOUTMOS and the supporting WP guidelines, the lodge article should first be expanded within the council article.
