Ticket summit

Ticket Summit is an annual trade show and conference for the secondary ticket industry. It is attended by ticket brokers, wholesalers, software companies, venue managers, and event promoters[1]. Ticket Summit 2008 will take place July 23 – 25 at The Venetian (Las Vegas) Hotel Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The trade show integrates exhibitors, training sessions, as well as speaker panels. Ticket Summit deals with topics such as Emerging markets, Public Relations, PCI DSS Compliance, and Customer Service in the secondary ticketing industry[2].
Fred Rosen, former Chief Executive Officer of Ticketmaster, delivered the keynote speech at Ticket Summit 2007[3]. Representatives for eBay, (an online auction and shopping Web site) [4], Google (a public company specializing in Internet search and online advertising)[5], StubHub (an online Web site for ticket buyers an d sellers)[6], and TicketNetwork (which makes software for ticket brokers)[7] were also present at the event. At Ticket Summit 2007 stand-up comedian Louie Anderson was hired for entertainment[8].
