Tibor Simon (1 September 1965April 23, 2002 [1]) was a Hungarian footballer who played for Ferencváros. He was beaten to death during a brawl outside a pub [1]; three of the four men arrested for his murder were later freed [2]. At the time of his death he was manager of FC Sopron [3], and had held coaching positions at Budapesti VSC and REAC [4]. He was training to receive his UEFA Pro License [5].
