Tibor Šalát, (1926–2005) was a Slovak mathematician. His works dealt mostly with number theory and real analysis.
He was also a teacher and a prolific author of textbooks for undergraduate and graduate students in the Slovak language.
He spent most of his professional career at Comenius University in Bratislava.
