Talk:Tiberius Claudius Balbilus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Agrippina was murdered at 59 CE and Balbillus was evidently at Nero's side by 65 CE when he advised the emperor about steps he should take concerning his security, after the persistent appearence of a comet, an ominous sign for change of sovereigns (Suetonius, Nero: 36). I have never heard of Balbillus disappearing as a result of charges by Agrippina, in fact he evidently became prefect of Egypt the year Agrippina was murdered. If some evidence for the claim in the article is not brought in in a short while, I will erase the false part of it. Lucius Domitius 10:42, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
