The map is a bit off.... the borders seem to be rotated clockwise, so that the northwest end of Tibet ends up intruding into the Taklamakan Desert of Xinjiang. -- ran (talk) 04:20, July 12, 2005 (UTC)

   Ridiculous politicisation of pure geographical map. The map makes no claim of territories 
   and boundaries. The whole plateau can be made to appear to belong to India if you wish, just
