Thymovar is a product to control the Varroa mite (Varroa destructor) on bees (Apis mellifera) and contains the essential oil thymol.
Through voltilisation, thymol vapour concentrations build up in the hive. These are highly toxic to the varroa mites, but do not harm the bees. Detailed information can be found at Andermatt BioVet AG.[1][2]
