Thymme Jones

Thymme (pronounced Timmy) Jones (b. 1963) is the drummer for the Chicago, Illinois-based math rock band Cheer-Accident. He also delivers pizzas for Rosati's. Jones frequently appears on the local cable-access program Unbalanced Load and is renowned for yelling "Hot Dogs!" outside Wrigley Field and for playing maracas for hours at a time. He has appeared on a number of Bobby Conn albums, playing drums on Conn's biggest hit "Never Get Ahead", as well as trumpet, piano and moog synthesizer on Conn's later albums "Rise Up!" and The Golden Age". He also played with the group Dot Dot Dot and has released several solo projects. Thymme currently lives in a garage off Ogden Avenue.
