[edit] Rutger's alma mater

Please cease changing the alma mater such that it differs from the cited reference. That's dishonest and not in accordance with Wikipedia's policies regarding verifiablity and cited sources. If the information is outdate or incorrect, please find another source and cite it. Continuing to engage in a revert war without even trying to participate in discussion is nonproductive and noncollegial. --ElKevbo 15:27, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Thumbelina - Please stop editing the alma mater section to reflect your preferred, UNOFFICIAL lyrics. Further edits in this fashion will be reported as vandalism. I do warn you that you have already violated the three-revert rule. —ExplorerCDT 17:12, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Rutgers University, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ExplorerCDT 17:49, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rutgers University protected

Hello, I requested and received full protection on the Rutgers University article because of the recent edit warring regarding the alma mater. Please bring discussion to the talk page of the article at Talk:Rutgers University. The protecting admin said:

Protected Rutgers University: Users engaging in edit warring. And everyone, please don't call everything "vandalism". Voice of All.

So please take this to the talk page and hopefully both sides can have a positive discussion. Thanks, Metros232 23:06, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kpjas RFA

Hi Thumbelina,

You have just opposed the Adminship of user:Kpjas. Your reasoning is "Reluctant oppose: not active or experienced enough yet." Kpjas is already an admin on on the Polish Wikipedia. He's got 43 THOUSAND edits under his belt. Why on earth would you oppose this user based on "inexperience"? Without trying to badger you, I strongly urge you to reconsider this vote. Happy editing! :) --Firsfron of Ronchester 22:51, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

My vote is based on experience and activity on this project. Thumbelina 22:53, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Then I really wish you would have stated that on the RFA itself. Right now, it looks as if you are opposing a user with 5 years of experience and 43,000 edits based on lack of experience. Cheers! --Firsfron of Ronchester 22:56, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
All my votes are based on what I can see here in this project, but I don't plan to qualify every vote. Thumbelina 22:57, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Nor was I asking you to. Nevermind, though, I'll make a full explanation of why you're opposing on the RfA, so Kpjas will know why you've opposed his adminship, and save you the bother. Happy editing! :)--Firsfron of Ronchester 23:13, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Long-Overdue RfA Thanks from Alphachimp

Thanks for your support in my not-so-recent RfA, which was successful with a an overwhelmingly flattering and deeply humbling total of 138/2/2 (putting me #10 on the RfA WP:100). I guess infinite monkey theorem has been officially proven. Chimps really can get somewhere on Wikipedia.

With new buttons come great responsibility, and I'll try my best to live up to your expectations. If you need assistance with something, don't hesitate to swing by my talk page or email me (trust me, I do respond :)). The same goes for any complaints or comments in regard to my administrative actions. Remember, I'm here for you.

(Thanks go to Blnguyen for the incredible photo to the right.) alphaChimp laudare 01:25, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Karkonosze/Giant Mountains/Krkonoše

Just in case you're interested, there's a new Karkonosze → Giant Mountains or Krkonoše vote here. Cheers! +Hexagon1 (t) 07:08, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

You discussed the name of Vossstrasse the last time it came up; you may be interested in doing so again. See Talk:Voßstraße#Page_name. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 00:17, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
