Thurrock Council election, 2008

Elections to Thurrock Council in Essex, England were held on 1 May 2008. One third of the council was up for election and the council stayed under no overall control. The election in the Tilbury Riverside and Thurrock Park ward was a by election following the resignation of the previous councillor. There was no contest in the Little Thurrock Rectory and Stifford Clays wards which have only two councillors.
