Thumbelina is a dwarf miniature horse and the world's smallest horse [1]. She stands 43cm (17 inches) tall and weighs 26 kg (57 lb)[2], and officially received the title of world's smallest from the Guinness Book of World Records[3]. Like many dwarf animals, Thumbelina is stout and possesses short limbs [4].
