Coordinates: Thudiyalur is a panchayat town in Coimbatore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is 12 km from Coimbatore City center.

As of 2001 India census[1], Thudiyalur had a population of 20,897.
Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Thudiyalur has an average literacy rate of 75%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 82%, and female literacy is 69%. In Thudiyalur, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Thudiyalur is ideally located on the famous Mettupalayam Road on the way to Coimbatore to Ottacamund (The Queen of Hills)
