I think this article should be renamed "Thurston-Bennequin number", since, by and large, this is the common usage nowadays. Any thoughts? Turgidson 00:49, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Yes, absolutely. I have this page on my to-do list, so I will hopefully get to it someday. But I don't suspect there will be any real disagreement here, so feel free to do this anytime. VectorPosse 07:30, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
