[edit] Minor edits, linking to dab pages

Hi Thrice34. A couple of things regarding this edit you made: Changing a music genre and adding a category is not a minor edit, so please do not mark it as such. You can see the guidelines at Help:Minor edit. Also, it would help if you used edit summaries. Furthermore, please do not use the sole word Rock as a genre, because that links to a disambiguation page. You could put Rock music or Rock. Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions. --Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 14:21, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Look

This is ridiculous now, you have been told before as your previous incarnations about capitalisation issues and changing genres without first seeking consensus. You have been warned time and again, and yet you persist in you disruptive ways. Please, please, please learn how to capitalise. Do NOT ever, ever, ever, ever again change genres without first seeking a consensus on the talk page. You are not the authority on genres, and simply changing them at will is extremely disruptive. You have been blocked for such behaviour in the past. Do not let it come to this again. A response to the posts on your talk page would also be polite and let us know that you have read them and understood them. Any questions, please ask. Nouse4aname (talk) 15:38, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

yeah i've read them all, and learned about the minor edits more and when it can be marked as such.

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 15:51, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Story of the Year, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you. Timmeh! 21:58, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] What Wikipedia is not

Wikipedia is not a general discussion forum. Please keep in mind that the "discussion" page of an article is to discuss the article, not to discuss the article in question. Your recent posts to Talk:Thrice have been removed (repeatedly) because this is not the place to inquire about the band's lyrics. Happy editing, --Cheeser1 (talk) 15:44, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ignorance

It seems you have ignored all of my previous advice. You are persisting in changing genres as you see fit. You are introducing improper capitalisation and grammar, and to put it bluntly, you are making a mess. Now I have told you time and time before, please learn to capitalise properly. I suggest you concentrate on school, instead of wikipedia, as others have to go around tidying things up after you. Please, for the sake of everyone involved, be a little more considerate and learn to do things properly. I have been polite and given you plenty of warnings in the past (as your previous Matt14 name). If you continue to ignore this, I will have no option but to request that you are banned again. Please, do not ignore this, but instead respond to it to show that you understand it. Nouse4aname (talk) 13:28, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Final chance

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent contributions to Wikipedia are very much appreciated. However, please take a moment to review your contributions for spelling, grammatical, capitalization, and punctuation errors before you save. This will help lessen the amount of copyediting others must do on the article, and will help maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance of Wikipedia. You might want to consider using the Firefox web browser, which has spell-check built-in, installing the ieSpell extension for Internet Explorer, or setting up spell-check for Opera.

This message is not meant to discourage you from editing Wikipedia but rather to encourage the best possible writing from our authors. Please take a look at the Manual of Style and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Nouse4aname (talk) 08:48, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop changing genres

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. Nouse4aname (talk) 15:35, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Capitalization

Hi Thrice34. Just wanted to offer another reminder that music genres are not capitalized on Wikipedia. As an example, we write alternative rock not Alternative rock when it occurs mid-sentence. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 15:42, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for persistent changing of musical genres without consensus and sockpuppetry. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text your reason here below.
