Throwing Toasters
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Throwing Toasters is a comedy rock act based in Southern California featuring Grant Baciocco, also known as the co-creator of the comedy program, The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd. As part of a running gag, the band purports to have three additional members: Dirk Underwood, Timmy DuFell and Stev "Musty" Jurgens, who never appear in any of the recorded music or live performances. The band has had several hits in the comedy music world including DEBBIE, N.R.L. (NURSERY RHYME LAWYER SONG), BAD INFLUENCE and PATRICK THE SPOILER. Throwing Toasters currently tours the United States playing mostly at colleges.
In 2003, the act played before a sold out crowd at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. In 2007, Throwing Toasters opened for "Weird Al" Yankovic on the Straight Outta Lynwood tour.
