Three Peaks Challenge

The terms Three Peaks and Three Peaks Challenge refer to two different groups of mountains in Great Britain, and the endurance challenges based around them:

National:

• The highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), Wales (Snowdon) and England (Scafell Pike).
• Challenges:
  • National Three Peaks Challenge
  • Three Peaks yacht race

Yorkshire:

• Yorkshire Three Peaks: Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent.
• Challenges:
  • Three peaks fell race
  • Three Peaks cyclo-cross race
