Three Dollar Bill, Yall$ is the debut album of the band Limp Bizkit, released July 1, 1997 on Flip/Interscope Records.

It was produced by Ross Robinson, the most influential producer of the nu metal movement. Although initially the album didn't sell well, through extensive touring, and the band's later breakthrough into the mainstream, it eventually went double platinum.

[edit] Album information

It was recorded in only six days (nine of the songs were done in three days) and released on July 1, 1997.

The album was mixed at Soundtrack Studio in New York City, and was mastered at Masterdisk in New York City.

Some copies of the disc have "Intro" mislabelled as "Infest".

The hidden track "Blind" is actually a remake of a song on Mental Aquaducts.

The final song on the album, "Everything", is actually just one big jam session that was recorded. Also, apparently the band was playing for an additional 5 minutes before they started recording.

The album was released in an "edited" version on June 16, 1998 that was hardly censored at all. "Bitch" and "ass" were left completely uncensored for the album, and no violence (metaphorical or not) was censored.
