Threatening Society

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Threatening Society was an alternative music fanzine published out of Philadelphia during the mid to late 90s. It focused mainly on punk rock and thrash metal, but also covered other related genres such as post-punk, speed metal and emo. Six full issues were published and distributed locally at punk rock shows, and national/internationally via mail order. The editors, Mickey and Tony, also released a compilation tape, a 7" record by NJ punkers TCO, and a benefit show featuring Fugazi and Scram.
