Thrasher is a monster truck currently racing in the USHRA Monster Jam series. It is owned and driven by Pat Summa. The truck was originally a Ford named Above-N-Beyond, and was campaigned under that name from 1989 to 1997. In 1997, Summa received sponsorship from a local Toyota dealer, prompting the name change and a new Toyota T100 body, later changed to a Tundra body. In 2002, the sponsorship ended and Thrasher reverted to a Ford. Summa has reacquired the sponsorship and in late 2007 the truck was redebuted with a new Tundra body. Summa also brought back the Above & Beyond name for the old Ford body. The truck primarily runs at shows in New England, however it also usually makes a few major stadium appearances each year.
