Talk:Thrills

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Far from having a "distinctive soap flavour", its manufacturer states it has a sweet flavour. AndI believe Willy Wonka is a character from fiction and not a bona fide maker of chocolate.

Lauren replies: I can vouch personally that it does taste like soap. And Willy Wonka is a candy manufacturing company named after the literary character.

[edit] Thrills flavour

I've never heard of it being compared to rosewater. I've always thought it tasted like lavender. If you do a search for "Thrills gum", a lot of hits will mention "the lavender-flavoured soap gum". It tastes like you're sucking on a bar of lavender-scented soap. (Not that I do that too often.) Then again, I don't know what rosewater tastes like. Is it similar to lavender?

I have a bottle of rosewater right here and believe me..... Rosewater is an old time baking ingredient.
