Ok, I don't know how this Wiki format works but I'll just post this here: People STOP adding Project Pat as a member of Three 6 Mafia, he is NOT. He is with the Hypnotize Camp Posse, and while he is a label mate of the six, he is not an official member. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.110.22.171 (talk) 02:53, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] albums?
what happened to the list of albums? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.1.169.89 (talk) 21:43, 29 March 2007 (UTC).
Why doesn't anyone mention that Mr.Del used to be a part of the group but became a Christian like Gangsta Boo? -Well if you have proof, go ahead and add it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.110.22.171 (talk) 02:54, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unnoticed vandalism
There have been a lot of strange changes to this page recently. I've removed the most obvious vandalism, but some numbers have been changed and are suspect. People should look at this diff to see what I'm talking about. Fix what you can? -- BillWeiss | Talk 19:51, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Project Pat out of 3-6?
Why is project pat listed as a former member of three 6 mafia? To my knowledge, he's still doing music with them —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.46.217.154 (talk) 04:51, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Metal Band Shirts
I do not know much about this group, or hip-hop/rap in general for that matter, but I noticed on TV one of the members of the group wearing an Iron Maiden band shirt, and recently in a Sports Illustrated issue, a member wore a Megadeth band shirt. Does anyone know if Three 6 Mafia likes metal? I am interested to find out since it is such an unrelated genre to rap and I am a fan of metal (hence my curiosity). Thanks, and sorry if this is an inappropriate forum for this question.
- Yes Juicy J has recently worn many shirts of metal/rock bands especially on Three 6 Mafia's reality tv show, Adventures in Hollyhood. Not sure whether it is just a fashion thing or if he actually likes these bands. The only groups that I am certain that they were influenced by was N.W.A. and the Geto Boys. I think the metal thing is just a Juicy J thing. T Rex | talk 13:21, 20 July 2007 (UTC), actually in an interview Juicy J stated he was a fan of metal and that one of his favourite bands was linkin park
[edit] Lead-in
There's no point starting off with "Academy award winning" when the very next sentence says they're the first hip hop group to win an Oscar. Besides, it's not NPOV to begin biographical articles with "award winning" (see Wikipedia_talk:Neutral_point_of_view#POV_in_first_sentence.3F). Yes it's true they've won an award but it's a piece of verbal fluff that shouldn't be mentioned in the opening sentence. It's fine to put it elsewhere in the intro of course, just not the first sentence. Spellcast 12:31, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, didn't notice it was in the second sentence as well. T Rex | talk 13:52, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- That's ok :) I see you've done a good job in expanding the lead-in as well. Spellcast 14:32, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] External Links
Hey guys how about linking to Three Six Mafia's A.D.D. bio on MTV.com? Its exclusive content. Check it out and see if you want to add it to the external link page. The URL is http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1528521&vid=81827--Chasingemy 20:32, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
- WP:LINKS says that "Adding external links can be a service to our readers, but they should be kept to a minimum of those that are meritable, accessible and appropriate to the article." That links doesn't really say anything that isn't already in the article. Also you need flash to view it and not everyone has flash. T Rex | talk 20:40, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] "Lord Infamous practiced witch craft and Demonology/Satanism at midnight for their success in the mid 90's"
Where is the proof of this ↑. I've looked all over the internet and this is the only site that says it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.249.33.85 (talk) 14:07, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
- The source given is an undated radio interview. Doesn't sound reliable, although it is phrased as a statement made by "Ex-group member Kingpin Skinny Pimp" not as a statement of fact. --Geniac (talk) 18:21, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] About Former Members - PLEASE READ
Half of the people who are listed as former members were not part of 3 6 Mafia, they were just associated with them and did a lot of guest appearances. 3 6 Mafia's lineup was DJ Paul, Juicy J, Gangsta Boo, Koopsta Knicca, Lord Infamous, and Crunchy Black. Nobody else was a member of the group. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.188.196.244 (talk) 06:25, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
