Non-existent. An ethnonym for a generic Thracian, the "'son' of Ares" being a standard expression for a man of fighting ability. In this way "mythic" figures are thoughtlessly multiplied. The lost Thrax of Euphorion of Chalcis is quoted by Parthenius of Nicaea's "Love Stories".--Wetman 18:14, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

The "text" here was contributed by User:Valeren, building on a hint from User:Neddyseagoon: there are no references yet to any Greek sources. --Wetman 12:50, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
