[edit] Summary

A three-component Brunnian link which is not the Borromean rings -- no two triangles are directly interlinked, but all three are collectively interlinked, and cutting any triangle will free the other two. For another three-component Brunnian link which is not the same as the Borromean rings, see Image:Brunnian-3-not-Borromean.png .

The three interlaced triangles are a minor symbol in some New Age / occultist / neo-pagan circles (presumably with a different preferred color scheme), and for such purposes it is occasionally called "the star of the muses".
