Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hey there, Thorn in Side, and welcome to our great encyclopedia, which currently has more than 2,038,831 articles! Even with this large number, all of your contributions are important (including the small ones), and I hope you like the place and decide to stay! Here's a few starting tips for you:

After reading all this (or even just glimpsing at it), I can understand that you might feel apprehensive about editing and contributing articles, for fear of making a mistake. But don't worry too much about mistakes; after all, you're new. Instead, everyone here encourages you to be bold! If you need help with anything, feel free to leave me a message, or you can put {{helpme}} on your talk page, and someone will show up shortly to give you a hand.

One last thing: when leaving a message on someone's talk page, don't forget to put four "tildes" (~~~~) to automatically sign your name.

When you repeatedly create inappropriate pages, there is no obligation for anyone to warn you that they are to be deleted. Deb 11:44, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

I do not repeatedly create inappropriate pages!! That is outrageous. How dare you say that. Staten Island Ninja is real. There are police reports and news stories about him. Say he is rediculous to his victims! Thorn in Side 02:35, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Costume Wench, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Neologism

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please see WP:MADEUP as well. PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:26, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Please don't try and expand this; there are no Google hits whatsoever for the term. I'm no stranger to theater and I've never heard the term before. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:28, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Using sockpuppet accounts and removing deletion notices is a sure way to lose your edit privileges. Once more: Please stop wasting your time on this. As I've pointed out, I am experienced in theater as an actor and musician. I have never heard the term. Neither has Google. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:30, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. This goes for the socks as well. Please: Knock it off. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:32, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
