Hello there, welcome to the 'pedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Thanks!

Hi Thomas. I agree entirely. I have very little time for out-and-out vandals, and we waste far too much time cleaning up after them. I really like the instant sign-up feature here, I think it helps a great deal to encourage participation. But I think we need to have some sort of probation scheme so that the complete idiots can't waste so much productive time of decent contributors. Best -- Tannin

Hello Tomas, a question has been asked about the copyright status of Image:Alain Finkielkraut.jpg. Could you confirm that the image is copyright free or otherwise OK to use? See Image talk:Alain Finkielkraut.jpg. Thanks -- sannse 18:58 May 10, 2003 (UTC)

Hi, Thomas, welcome to the Wikipedia. If you have a concern about the uploading of pictures, you might want to discuss it at Wikipedia:Village pump, where someone who knows more about these things can see it. -- Zoe

Hi. Sorry, I made a mistake while viewing your SARS stat graph and I reverted the last version (didn't know what was this "rev" button... now I know :P). I can't find the newest version of this image on WHO site, so could you upload your version to correct my stupid reversion ? Thanks and sorry again. iNyar

If you are still around it would be great to get a more recent SARS graph. Rmhermen 21:56 2 Jul 2003 (UTC)

[edit] Image:SARS_stat.png

Hi there. The image you posted at Image:SARS stat.png is marked as having been taken from the WHO. Below that, a GNU license is tagged to it. Material from the WHO is actually copyrighted, and is usually not GNU. Did you somehow get them to release copyright, or was this a special image they left uncopyrighted? If so please provide documentation.—Encephalon | ζ | Σ 12:29:52, 2005-08-11 (UTC)

I can't be certain, but it sounds like the image itself wasn't taken from WHO, but the data used in its compilation was. And I have no idea how I came across this. -- D. F. Schmidt (talk) 08:48, 13 August 2005 (UTC)

I compiled the date to produce the image. So there is not copyright issue. Thomas 12:02, 29 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:KPMG.png

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:KPMG.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:31, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
