[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!

Dear Thomas Cunningham: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any dicussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD!

Feel Free to Directly contact me!!! I Love helping you guys out!! After all I was new here about 3 months ago!!

[edit] Self-promotion

Please do not create Wikipedia articles about yourself or use it to promote yourself in any way. This usage of Wikipedia is fundamentally counter to our policies and guidelines. It represents a conflict of interest, autobiography, and in your case inclusion of a subject which has not yet reached the proper notability threshold. Your article also failed to represent a neutral point of view. For all of these reasons and the criterion for speedy deletion regarding unremarkable biographies, I have deleted your article. Your user page had the same content on it. This is an inappropriate use of user space. I have removed this content and invite you to replace it with more appropriate as outlined here. (Please note that all links point towards the relevant policy or guideline page.) If you do decide to stick around, edit the encyclopedia and become a Wikipedian, you might wish to include yourself in the Category:Wikipedian musicians. I hope that now that you're here you will find yourself editing more than just about yourself and enjoy this community collaboration as much as I do. —WAvegetarian (talk) 13:06, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thomas Cunningham

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Thomas Cunningham, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. —WAvegetarian (talk) 19:59, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
