It seems you've stumbled across my Wikipedia userpage. Welcome, visitor! The name's Aly, how do you do?

I'm sure I'm one of the younger serious (i.e., non-vanity/spam/trolling/etc.) contributors here at Wikipedia. I'm 18 years old, and I'm a rising sophomore at Elon University as an anthropology and creative writing double major with a minor in gender studies.

I've made edits and had convos/debates about various articles around here... Check out my user contributions to see. And yes, this is my first article. (Isn't this sad? My first article that I started by myself is a userpage. Well done, Aly.)

Not much to say about me, really... If you'd like to get to know me better, you can contact me through my talk page at the moment, since I'm not currently giving out any other contact medium through Wikipedia.

And, for those of you that may be interested, my user name is from the song "Eden," by my favourite group, 10,000 Maniacs. It's from the album Our Time in Eden and is derived from the first line: "We are the roses in the garden, beauty with thorns among our leaves..."
