I am a Spanish teacher at the Francis W. Parker Charter Essential School[1] in Devens, Massachusetts. (previously, I was an English teacher at the Moses Brown School in Providence R.I). I studied Comparative Literature at Brown University, focusing on Spanish Literature, and wrote a translation of a body of Luis Cernuda's poetry for my honors thesis. While at Brown, I worked for the Women Writers Project, where stories are still told about me. My interests include Formalism, Computer generated poetry, Spanish literature, music and the free software community. I occasionally copy edit and wikify, and have contributed mostly in pages related to literature, poetry and poetics.
I'm also a programmer and the developer of a couple of gnu/linux applications: http://grecipe-manager.sf.net - Gourmet Recipe Manager http://gnome-sudoku.sf.net - GNOME Sudoku
