Thorondir

In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth, Thorondir was the twenty-second Ruling Steward of Gondor. He was born in T.A 2782 and succeeded his father Belecthor II at his death in 2872 Third Age.
There were no major events during his rule, but small scale warfare had become endemic on the borders of Gondor.
Thorondir was followed by his son Túrin II at his death in 2882.
