Thorne North railway station is one of two stations serving the town of Thorne in South Yorkshire, England. The station is 16 km (10 miles) north east of Doncaster on the Sheffield to Hull Line. The other station in the town is Thorne South for services towards Scunthorpe.

Stopping services between Doncaster and Hull and beyond call at Thorne North. Monday to Saturdays there is usually an hourly service.
Sundays there is a two hourly service towards Goole eastbound and Sheffield westbound.
The station is manned mon-fri 0700 to 1400 and has a ticket office that is warm and welcome on cold wintery mornings. The usual station staff member ("Dangerous Dave") is helpful and knowledgeable.
