Thornbury and Yate will be a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

This seat is the successor to the Avon constituency Northavon, in southwest England, which is abolished following boundary changes.

Following their review of parliamentary representation in Avon and Gloucestershire, the Boundary Commission for England has created the new seat of Thornbury and Yate.

The electoral wards used in the creation of this new seat are from the district of South Gloucestershire
