The Thomasville High Scholars Academy is a charter school that was established in Thomasville, Georgia in 2006. It offers many AP and Honors classes to more able students who would otherwise be enrolled at Thomasville High School.
To be accepted into the academy, an applicant must have good grades as well as other desirable qualities. Once admitted students at the academy also have the opportunity to earn their AA degree.
The academy's facilities include a full computer lab and two science labs, while it also has an online newspaper and an Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Traing Corps (AFJROTC). Sports are conducted in connection with Thomasville High School so that any student at the academy may play in the high school's teams. Some academy classes are also held in the High School itself. It offers classes from grades sixth to twelfth grade.
The current director of the academy is Dale Grahm and the secretary is Tina Glass.
