Thomas Wignell

Thomas Wignell (1753-1803) was an actor and theatre manager in colonial United States. He came to North America in 1774 with his cousin Lewis Hallam, then left for Jamaica until 1785. He worked with the Old American Company at the John Street Theatre, at the Chestnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, and with the Philadelphia Company and Alexander Reinagle in Baltimore, at the Holliday Street Theatre.
