Thomas Wardall

Thomas Arthur Wardall was a first class cricketer who played 45 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1884 to 1894. He also played first class games for the North of England in 1884 and L Hall's Yorkshire XI in 1891. He played 47 first class matches in all. He played for Yorkshire Second XI in 1892.

A right handed batsman, he scored 1,163 runs at 15.10 with a best of 112 against Liverpool and District. He scored 3 centuries in all. He held 30 catches in the field and took 30 wickets with his right arm slow bowling, with a best analysis of 5 for 13 against Surrey CCC, his only five wicket haul.

He was born on April 19, 1862 in Eston Junction, Middlesbrough and died on December 20, 1932 in Burnley, Lancashire.
