Thomas W. Patterson

Thomas W. Patterson (USA) is a technology entrepreneur. As a project manager for CenTel Telecommunications, he led development of of a security product called NetAssure. As Chief Strategist for IBM, he was instrumental in the development of several products and services, including Net.Commerce, Vault Registry and IBM eTill Payment. As a partner in KPMG, Patterson was a leader in electronic payments. As a partner with Deloitte and Touche, Patterson was instrumental in using security as an enabling technology for electronic commerce. In 2004, Patterson founded Command Information in northern Virginia, focusing on IPV6 issues and capabilities.
Patterson published the management/technology book Mapping Security in 2003.
Tom Patterson attended The University of Maryland from 1978 to 1982.
