Thomas Täglichsbeck (December 31, 1799, Ansbach - October 5, 1867, Baden-Baden) German violinist and composer.
Following lessons from his father Johann, young Thomas was at 20-years-old one of the youngest conductors of the theater orchestra in Lower Saxony. He also gained fame as a solo violinist. When his Symphony No. 1 in E-flat major was premiered in Paris, Berlioz was very dismissive about it, but a year later changed his mind.[1]
