Thomas Schlafly

Thomas Schlafly, or Tom Schlafly, is a co-founder of the Saint Louis Brewery, the first microbrewery in Missouri, which produces the Schlafly line of beers.[1] Schlafly is a graduate of the Saint Louis Priory School, and received his A.B. and J.D. from Georgetown University.

In his capacity with the brewery, he writes a humorous, informative column every month entitled Top Fermentation. In the fall of 2006, he published A New Religion in Mecca: Memoir of a Renegade Brewery in St. Louis (Virginia Publishing), which recounts the story of his founding of the Saint Louis Brewery.[2]

He is also an attorney, serving in "of Counsel" capacity at Blackwell Sanders LLP.
