Thomas Peacock (army officer)

Lieutenant Thomas Peacock was an officer with Easy company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment 101st Airborne Division during World War II. Lieutenant Peacock joined Easy company as a platoon leader before Easy Company participated in Operation Market Garden. Peacock stayed with the company throughout the duration of the war, seeing action in Holland, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge, and occupation duty in Germany and Austria. Winters states in his autobiography Beyond Band of Brothers: The War Memoirs of Major Dick Winters that Peacock was a good officer in the sense that had drive, desire, and care for his men. Peacock was portrayed in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers by David Nicolle.
