Thomas Law (born 17 December 1992 in London) is the fourth English actor to play Peter Beale in the popular BBC soap opera EastEnders. He took over from James Martin on 31 August 2006.
The young actor has been modelling since the age of four and previously appeared in several episodes of Casualty. He lives with his parents, Trish and Robert, and his 2 sisters. Thomas also has family in Australia.
His hobbies include Golf, Football and Cricket, as well as acting, soprano singing and running.[1]
In December 2007 Thomas was invited to spend some time at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital by his aunt, who works there. He spend time with children who would be spending Christmas there. During his time there he managed to visit youngsters in all three of the L&D's children's wards and he stopped for pictures and a chat, as well as signing autographs. After the event hospital spokesman Barry Mayes said: "He gave a big chunk of his time. He was very pleasant, mature and humble, and really homed in on the children and how they were feeling."[2]
He is only one week older than the actress who plays his on-screen twin sister Lucy Beale, Melissa Suffield.
He is a supporter of Leicester City.[citation needed]
