Thomas J. Serafin

Thomas J. Serafin is an American lay Roman Catholic author and Christian relics advocate and expert.
Serafin is the founder of the International Crusade for Holy Relics and Saints Alive, which was the first internet website on the propagating the cultus of relics. He is also President and CEO of the Apostolate for Holy Relics, a non-profit tax-exempt 501C3 organization. The AHR (www.relictour.org)is the first officially sanctioned Catholic Lay Apostolate propagating the veneration of relics and the educating of the faith through the lives of the saints, approved by the Church in known history. He wrote Relics -The Forgotten Sacramental and contributed to the Encyclopedia of Catholic Devotions its article on relics. Over 400 articles have printed on his efforts to restore the dignity back to the remains of the saints.
For his devotion to the proper veneration of relics and for his teaching of the faithful he was awarded the honor of being Knighted "Chevalier" in the Order of Immaculate Conception of Vila Vicosa, Knight Commander of the Order of St. Micheal of the Wing, and Officer in the Order of the Dragon of Annam.
Serafin and his group was responsible for putting the pressure on Ebay to stop them from allowing first-class Catholic relics consisting of human remains from being auctioned off at their site.
