Thomas Hickey (Born February 8, 1989 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada) is a professional ice hockey player for the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL.
On June 22, 2007, Hickey was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings. He was the 1st round, 4th overall selection in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Hickey had been playing for the Seattle Thunderbirds for 2 years before he was entered in the 2007 NHL Draft, in Columbus, Ohio. Hickey is a graduate of the Edge School in Calgary.
On July 17, 2007, Hickey signed a three year entry contract to the Los Angeles Kings.
On September 21, 2007, Hickey was assigned by the Los Angeles Kings back to the Western Hockey League's Seattle Thunderbirds for the 2007 – 2008 Season.
Thomas's brother Dan Hickey, played for the Strait Pirates in the Nova Scotia Junior B League.
