Thomas Fleckenstein

Thomas Fleckenstein is an attorney and politician from Pasadena, Maryland, USA. Fleckenstein has twice been a Democratic candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 31. Fleckenstein won the Democratic primary in 1998 and 2002. He was an Assistant States Attorney in Anne Arundel County, Maryland from 1996 through 2003. Fleckenstein considered filing for the Office of State's Attorney for Anne Arundel County in 2006, but did not do so. He was appointed to the Maryland State Board of Elections by Governor Robert Ehrlich in 2005. He was Vice-Chairman of the Maryland State Board of Elections from 2005 until June of 2006. In 2007 he was appointed to a four year term as Chairman of the Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission for Anne Arundel County, Maryland by Governor Martin O'Malley. He is a possible candidate for the Maryland State Senate or for Anne Arundel County State's Attorney (District Attorney) in 2010.
