Thomas Evans (cricketer)

Thomas Evans (June 3, 1852December 2, 1916) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm slow-medium bowler who played for Derbyshire during the 1883 season. He was born in Stoneyford and died in Heaton Moor.

Evans later played for Gentlemen of Liverpool and District during a Canadian tour of England in 1887. Evans was a tailend batsman and a generally successful bowler. In the game against Gentlemen of Canada, he took eleven wickets in the match. Evans' brother, Henry, played first-class cricket between 1878 and 1882.
