Thomas Di Leva

Thomas Di Leva, birth name Sven Thomas Magnusson, (born October 23, 1963 in Gävle, Gävleborg County, Gästrikland, Sweden) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and New Age spokesman.

At the age of 14 he took his mother's Italian name, Di Leva, which is also the name that he use as an artist. He made his record debut in 1980 with the band The Pillisnorks and the EP 4 Visitors. A short while thereafter he put together the Gävle band Modern Art, that became Modærn Art. In 1982 he made his solo debut with the record Marginal Cirkus at the newly started record company Adventure. On Papa Records, the album På ett fat was released. In 1985 the track "Kom till mig" made it to the Tracks-list (A popular list voted by listeners in Sweden). Di Leva's big breakthrough came in 1987 with the record Vem ska jag tro på? and the single with the same name. The video for the single was recorded in New York and was directed by Måns Herngren.
