Thomas Craig, (born 4 December 1962 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England as Craig Thompson) is a British actor best known for his work on such TV series as Where the Heart Is and Coronation Street, and also the film The Navigators, directed by Ken Loach in 2001.
In September 2005, Craig was fined £500 for his part in a brawl with an opposing football fan in a car park in Ipswich, before his team Sheffield Wednesday played Ipswich Town some hours later [1].
Craig was originally a plumber before making the move into acting in the 1980s. His stage name is taken from the name of former Sheffield Wednesday player Tommy Craig.
He also appeared in EastEnders in 1992 as Mandy Salter's mothers boyfriend, and in 2008 in Murdoch Mysteries.
