well thoreau could be a nice place only if you live there for awhile...but then again...it could be boring..because...there is actually nothing to do around thoreau. i think they should build more things in this small little town such as a public park for example. places where young people could have a place to hang out. a place where the teenagers could be instead of getting themselves in trouble somewhere else. i have lived in thoreau since i was 5 years old. i am now 17 years old and there still is hardly anything to do here. i think the navajo nation president should bring entertainment to this small community. just to keep the younger gerneration out of trouble. there is a lot of young youth that are always getting caught in fights and drugs and alcohol, and if we did have something to do here in thoreau, then the teenagers would find something better to do then what they are doing now. this is just my little own opinion and speaking for all other teenagers that lived here in thoreau, new mexico for more than 10 years.
